Jakob is a graduate of the Université de Moncton’s Bachelor of Music program and is currently a student at Randolph College for the Performing Arts, one of the top musical theatre schools in the country. He specializes in classical and musical theatre voice styles and beginner piano. He creates a safe and fun environment to help his students attain their full potential in music.
Jakob Creighton is a voice and beginner piano teacher as well as an actor/singer. Most recently, he was on the voice faculty with the School of Atlantic Ballet in Moncton, New Brunswick. He has trained with Estill Master Teacher, Nova Hughes, as well as Lisa Roy (Université de Moncton Voice Faculty), Monette Gould (former UdeM Voice Faculty), and currently Robert Longo (Randolph College Voice Faculty member). Jakob continues his passion of performing as a student at Randolph College for the Performing Arts (class of 2021). He holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from Université de Moncton. He found his love of performing at a young age, grew up performing in musical theatre, and had his professional début in 2015. He has performed in various productions ranging from opera to Gilbert and Sullivan to musical theatre to feature film.
Jakob specializes in Classical and Musical Theatre vocal styles as well as beginner piano, and incorporates aspects of Classical technique and Estill voice training in his vocal teaching approach. He teaches from a base of technique and musicianship (theory and ear training) to aid his students in attaining their full potential as artists. Lessons are available in both English and French.
