MADISON HAYES-CROOK: EXPERIENCED CONTEMPORARY & CLASSICAL VOCAL INSTRUCTOR

Madison is a recognized vocalist with over 15 years of intense training from a diverse series of highly educated teachers. Having worked across Canada, the US and Taiwan as a vocalist, Madison’s approach combines both classical and contemporary techniques.

She confidently prepares students in classical, musical theatre, pop, folk and rock. Madison is bubbly, inviting coach who works hard to ensure students find the incredible joy that comes with performing, while learning excellent technique that will enable them to tackle any song of any genre. She believes in tailoring a unique plan for each student in order to achieve their goals all the while inspiring them to work hard and dream big in a fun, safe space.

Growing up in Ottawa, Madison competed in NATS and Kiwanis festivals for several years in numerous categories. Through this fast-paced, competitive environment, she learned a plethora of techniques to combat performance anxiety and deliver showmanship that she now passes on to her students. During this time, she earned RCM qualifications, progressing to Grade 10 voice, Grade 6 piano and advanced History and Harmony.

After graduating high school she moved her studies to New York and Toronto where she attended Open Jar Institute, Broadway Artists Alliance and graduated with Honours from Randolph Academy. Through this time, she trained with the top coaches across North America learning wide vocal diversity and numerous training techniques.

Since emerging as a young professional performer Madison has toured North America and performed across Canada in a number of popular shows including, Into the Woods, Legally Blonde the Musical, The Producers, Disenchanted and most recently American Idiot and Bitter Girl. When not in the studio, theatre or on set Madison is working as a personal trainer, exploring the city or creating music in her cosy apartment.
