Eric has been sharing the joy of music with students and audiences around the world since 1995. Learn to play the songs you know and love or take it a step further and create your own music to share with the world.
Eric began studying music in Winnipeg at age 3 in the Suzuki program. After 12 years of lessons with classical teachers in the Royal Conservatory of Music as well as studying Jazz with some of Canada´s finest Jazz musicians, Eric became the house pianist for the Winnipeg Art Gallery at age 15.
At age 23 Eric left Humber College with a Diploma in Jazz Performance with Honours. At 24 Eric became a Musical Director for Holland America Cruise Lines. After 2 world cruises and 7 years of performing around the world, he spent the next ten years in Europe, teaching in Switzerland at the International School in Basel and performing around Europe.
Music is a Universal language and Eric has been developing a program to make music accessible to students of all ages and skill level. With a little inspiration combined with some basic theory and technic, you too can begin to play pop, rock, blues, gospel, soul, funk, reggae, classical or jazz.
Bu studying piano with Eric and learning a few basic principles, the doors will quickly open up to being able to improvise and compose your own melodies.
