With over a decade of guitar playing experience, I am not just a guitar instructor; I am your guide to unlocking the world of music through six strings. My journey began at the age of 13 when I first saw a video of Green Day rocking out to “American Idiot.” At that moment, I knew I wanted to dive deep into music. I wanted to soak up as much as possible from the vast sea of information that music is.
My teaching philosophy revolves around nurturing creativity while building a solid foundation. I believe every student is unique, and I craft a personalized learning plan for each individual. I specialize in a diverse range of styles, including rock, pop, blues, jazz, neosoul, RnB, and funk, ensuring my students gain a well-rounded understanding of musical expression. My structured yet adaptable teaching method is tailored to help each student find their “Green Day moment” and pique their interest in music.
From beginners taking their first steps to aspiring musicians aiming to refine their technique, I’ve had the privilege of guiding a wide array of students on their musical journey. While I’ve had the honor of collaborating with multiple artists and being endorsed by brands such as PRS guitars, my true passion lies in witnessing the “aha” moments in my students’ eyes as they grasp a challenging concept or play their favorite song flawlessly. My greatest satisfaction comes from empowering students to become not just proficient guitarists but lifelong lovers of music.
