Songwriting is designed to help you create strong, focused songs that perfectly blend your lyrical ideas with powerful melodies. You will learn key concepts in form, structure, and melodic development.
By taking part in our lessons you will:
- Have an awareness of different styles and genres of writing
- Understand song structure and how it can be used
- Have an awareness of harmony and melody
- Learn the creative process behind writing lyrics
At the end of the week each student will have finished writing a unique and creative song under our guidance. Students will then present their final song to the class, either live or by sharing a recording. This way feedback can be shared by both students and the instructor to perfect your songwriting!
If you can't make it to our studio we also offer lessons via online, or if you want a deeper in person approach we can send one of our talented instructors to teach you in the comfort of your own home!
