Andrea started as a teenager working as a live drummer and studio session with various bands and songwriters, collecting various collaborations with established musicians in the field of rock and progressive music. While continuing his musical studies, he toured with pop, alternative, jazz, folk and world-music bands. In his career, his fellow peers have recognized him as a very versatile drummer and musician.
Over the years Andrea has had the opportunity to collaborate on various projects, his concerts and recordings include collaborations with Jeffrey Kollman, Tommy Denander, Ron Thal, Karl Potter, Piccola Orchestra La Viola, Duo + 2 Quartet, Francesco Puglisi, Roberto Tarenzi, Nicola Costa , etc.Andrea has been teaching for almost 20 years and stores a lot of experience with students of all ages. He has had the opportunity to study music privately with some of the best and most important music teachers around, he graduated in Italy in art, painting and design. His musical vision is connected with a completely artistic and creative approach.

Over the years he has developed a personal and effective path regarding styles and rhythms of all kinds, odd tempos, advanced coordination and melodic phrasing, together with a wide range of contents concerning the control and independence of the limbs, learned by the best European and American teachers, met privately and through masterclasses.
Andrea makes use of important books also used by the most important music academies and conservatories in the world, methods for modern drums and specific books on the rudiments and the technique of the snare drum. He teaches rhythmic solfeggio and detailed and personalized study programs for each type of student, he is a very patient teacher, his stimulating approach to music and his method keep his students’ concentration high. Andrea believes that it is very important to discover one’s own personality and inner voice, respecting the musical tradition and avoiding the depersonalization of standard systems.
