I have dedicated my work life performing, through various schools, ensembles
and genres of music, from Classical, Jazz, Tango, Rock, Latin American music
and even Baroque figured bass, all across Santiago Chile. I have recently
emigrated to Toronto in pursue of a better understanding of the music
industry, and to live and experience the city’s vibrant music scene. My main
achievement in performance and composition is under my project “Ensamble
Escondido”, in which I have performed in many of the most important jazz
and rock festivals and venues, and finally won the Pulsar Prize for “Best Jazz
album of 2022” with our album “Lejos” (Available on Spotify).
I strongly believe that teaching music is an important part of a musician life,
and a vital part of a community in which they live on. It has always been part
of my activities, and I have experience in many different approaches,
methods and settings, such as group, individual, ensemble, theory, popular,
classical and for all ages.
